Senior Inside Sales Representative

Job Title: Senior Inside Sales Representative
Department: Inside Sales
Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Deal with day to day issues and interactions with customers in a friendly and professional manner in order to ensure that the customer wants to continue to deal with International Extrusion. Be a liaison between production, customers, and salesmen by providing timely and accurate information to all.

JOB DUTIES
1. Answering telephones- Take orders and answer questions.
2. Process/enter fax and e-mailed orders.
3. Generate paperwork for backorders and replacement orders.
4. Proof work orders against hard copy.
5. Track order progress and notify customers when and why deliveries will be late.
6. Work up customer quotes – copies to outside salesmen.
7. Assist salesman and customers by providing accurate, timely information as requested.
8. Return all phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner.
9. Handle customer complaints and begin the complaint/corrective action process.
10. Back-up other inside reps by cross training on their accounts.
11. Constant communications with all departments to facilitate customer needs.
12. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum High School Diploma.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Understand basic general industry terminology and practices.
2. Good communication skills. Ability to convey both good and bad news effectively and with consideration.
3. Efficiency in arithmetic.
4. General P.C. knowledge, as well as excellent Word and Excel capabilities
5. Effective and efficient time management skills.
6. Common sense decision making capability
