CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER – Alhambra Location

Job Title: Customer Service Manager
Reports To: Sales Manager
Supervises: Customer Service Representatives

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working closely under the Sales Manager, the Customer Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Inside Sales department. Responsibilities include staffing and evaluation of current staff, evaluation of all processes and practices within the department, coordination of effort with Outside Sales and production, as well as controlling the customer complaint process and response.

JOB DUTIES
• Develop process for evaluating and measuring customer service reps effectiveness
• Provide training and coaching to constantly improve upon service standards
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified customer service applicants
• Participate in production and sales meetings representing the department
• Pool all expedited order information and present to production for proper processing
• Occasionally make sales calls on clients with outside sales representatives as requested
• Oversee the customer complaint/corrective action process and client response
• Authorize and ensure validity of customer rejections/returns and credits due
• Ensure and improve upon communications between all inside and outside contact
• Assist the quote process, monitor the process, and track win lose percent and reasons

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School graduate, with a college degree (degree preferred but not necessary)
• Previous aluminum industry knowledge/experience preferred
• Previous management experience
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of windows based software (excel & word)
• Moderate to advanced computer skills
• Ability to read blue prints/die drawings preferred
