COMPANY HISTORY

International Extrusion Corporation (IEC) was established in June of 1962 in Alhambra, California, providing International Aluminum Corporation (IAC) with its second manufacturing company. This establishment enabled IAC to supply aluminum extrusions to its already existing residential window manufacturing company. In addition to its captive sales, IEC supplied a variety of extrusions to the open market as well.

With growth through an aggressive approach to the market, IEC added additional presses in '63, '68, '69 and '75. With mounting production increases and increased raw material purchases, IEC added a foundry in '66 to assist in the recycling and development of aluminum extrusion material.

Stocking Program With the realization that demand was on the incline, IEC instituted anodizing equipment in the 70's, further enhancing their customer service value. In the late 80's the institution of a modernized paint processing line enabled IEC to further expand their product offering and customer service. Today each of these finishing processes plays a major role in the production and distribution of products for IEC.

In 1980 IEC established a second manufacturing facility in Waxahachie, Texas. With 24 years of experience as a blue print, this facility combined innovative thought and extruding principles to create a modernized production facility. Today IEC's Texas facility operates four presses in addition to the anodizing, painting and fabrication production operations to rival their sister facility in California.
